I&#039;ve always thought cabbage has been snubbed in kitchens . . . we often make salad out of cabbage because we love the texture and pragmatically . . . it stores for a couple days.  It also packs more nutritional punch than lettuce . . . now if I can only get my hands on the varieties you had discussed!  LK</description>
